Description: One of the biggest and most visited “Content Portal” of Paraguay.
Objectives: Redesign a content portal for the Paraguayan people around the world. The site had to be appealing but in the same time very light and fast loading, this is because in Paraguay, internet bandwidth is very limited. So I designed and developed the entire portal around xhtml using a lot of the new xhtml concepts known today.
The portal ended up being a lot lighter than the last version, even though the visual effects are much more appealing and attractive. It’s actually lighter than any big content portal found in the net.
What I’ve learned:
- Designing content portal sites.
- Xhtml and css layout design.
